In doing this, we utilise the newest technology including Computer Aided Design, Mechanical / Electrical calculation software, and project programming and tendering / estimating software, resulting in professionally compiled and presented documentation in accordance with the latestt standards and legislation.
Our Project Management Approach
Globe Engineering Company Limited has a successful track record of ensuring projects are completed as promised and to the clients’ expectations. this is done through a well-defined project management approach which is crucial to the success of projects, particularly those with aggressive timelines.
Project Planning
Before any project is turned over to our designers, engineers and technicians. Our Project Committee analyses and develops a plan that outlines how and when both Globe Engineering company Limited and the client or his representative will achieve and act on deliverables. We develop a Project Plan that outlines key members of the developement team, task required to complete the project and resource assignment, milestones and potetial risk to the project. An Account Manager is tyically assigned to oversee your project and act as your primary contact regarding the status of your project. We also identify all content that will be required from you, and attach appropriate milestones to the delivery of this content in a the Content Delivery Plan.
Project Briefing And Maiden Meeting
When requirements are finalized and a plan designed, a project kick-off meeting is held to review the project scope, requirements and the plan with all stakeholders involved. this ensures everyone on the team has a thorough understanding of what is expected of them and understands the complete scope. Depending on the project, this meeting could precede the development of a Solution overview and / or a Project Plan.
Managing The Project
At Globe Engineering Company Limited, a Project Manager is specifically assigned to project irrespective of the project value. All our PM’s report on daily basis about their progress in order to ensure that project risk are managed and that milestaone are met as planned through the Project Director. We employ latest project Management software tool thta ensures all our team understand their responsibilities, timelines and dependencies irrespective of their location. Bi-weekly repoprts are also provide to our client to ensure they are aware of our project status; this includes specifying potential risk to the schedule or budget, items completed in the previous two weeks, items to be completeted in the followings two weeks, items that are required by the client over the next two weeks and general comments or notes. We make it our responsibility to ensure the client understand our direction is in line with their expectations.
Post-Project Review
As part of our quality and project management process, each project manager is tasked with looking at means to improve processes and the quality of service provided to our clients. Globe Engineering Company Limited undertakes post-project review meeting with our client to discuss what worked well and where improvements could be made. We also deliver a post-project Client Satisfaction Survey to the Project Sponsor to obtain feedback on their experience.
